The first experimentation of this tool is the GreenLivingLab San Siro project, one of the SoHoLab pilot projects promoted by the Milanese research unit. The pact has been signed by several organizations and institutions (Milan Municipality, 7th Municipality of Milan, Alfabeti Ngo, Genera social cooperative Imby cultural association, Mapping San Siro and temporiuso.net). GreenLivingLab San Siro project (which was awarded the King Badouin Foundation Grant 2018) will develop several interventions to improve the quality of the public space in one of the most problematic streets of San Siro neighborhood: via Abbiati. The organizations involved in the pact, as well as citizens and inhabitants, will contribute to the maintenance and the management of the new interventions. The building site will open in February and the inauguration will take place in Spring 2019.

The 21st of December the first “collaboration pact” has been signed in Milan. The collaboration pact is a new tool developed by the Public Administration in order to foster citizens and third sector organizations’ participation in the management of public and common spaces/goods.
